I found: How Meg West Was Won by Libby Mercer an enjoyable read. The hero, Dutch is imperfectly perfect—strong and admirable—swooping in the ‘save’ the heroine from a financial dilemma. In the meantime the heroine is a tough cookie, keeping her head up even though she carries a heavy load on her shoulders. I love how the author brought these characters to life. They were realistic, as if you’re meeting real people, with everyday, real life issues. Dutch and Meg are likable and they have problems like any of us do but to see them have a happy ever after left me with a satisfactory sigh in the end.
