Tempted by the Bridesmaid by Annie O’Neil

35093700A woman to unlock his heart? The last time brooding Italian surgeon Luca Montovano saw bubbly heiress Francesca Martinelli was at his best friend’s failed wedding. Sparks flew then, and now she’s made a surprise appearance at his mountaintop clinic, bringing a much-needed whirlwind of laughter! Aristocratic Luca just wants to be left alone to care for his orphaned niece. The scars on his face reach right to his heart, and he’s learned to push people away. Until Fran forces him to see the world through her eyes!

REVIEW:

Francesca Martinelli is a bridesmaid at her best friend, Princess Beatrice’s wedding though what she knows about the groom has enough strength to create quite a stir. But all Fran wants is to see her dearest friend happy…even if that means ending one of Italy’s most powerful, media covered weddings. Marco may be me handsome, wealthy and a prince but he has no shame.

Meanwhile, Luca and Francesca are secretly attracted to each other but due to circumstances in the beginning reign back their feelings. All that matters at that point is their best friend. However, over the course of the story the plot thickens and things get shaken up a bit.

What really drew me into the story is the captivating tug-o-war of emotions raging between Luca and Fran amidst the backdrop of medical drama. Their romance is slow burning and hot!

Luca has demons in his closet and even his gorgeous looks can’t hide them. The scar on his face reminds him of a tragedy which still haunts him to this day. However, what he doesn’t need in his life right now is a lying, cheating, and deceptive girlfriend. The signs had been right in front of him all this time that Marina was using him. Luca is deeply knocked up by the truth. Only now he has a chance to tell Marina what he’d been itching to tell her all along— that it’s over. His eyes are now set on Fran and he can’t deny how attracted he is to her. Fran on the other hand is funny, passionate and downright irresistible. I took a liking to her character from the onset. She is no doormat. Her strong and charming personality will make you instantly fall for her. Though she’s somewhat of an introvert when it comes to expressing her feelings, I still saw a part of her that is striking and pleasing. Beautiful and detailed writing ensures that you are a satisfied reader after you close the book. Overall, Tempted by the Bridesmaid by Annie O’Neil is a dramatically entertaining read!
